Here’s a new demo song Lorikonkero !
[It’s on myspace too]. It’s recorded live and will chance a bit for the upcoming record.
We have 2 gigs in Turku soon, check the gigs section. We try to do things a little differently on a Pikkujoulu gig, Keff vs. Dkstr battle, what does that mean, even we don’t know. But it will be oowsom as usual.
On the other news, i bought Korg Er-1. Nice little drummachine!

So last week when I was visiting my parents I stumbled to these awesome, accurate drawings of different game characters.By me. Yes. These are from 1993 or 1994 and these are pretty much the most awesome find I’ve found from my youngr years. Most of the stuff is from Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter II. Its funny because I’ve been thinking about SFII related tattoo for a while. So lets get a picture-by-picture play out of these:

Well helloooo. Its been a while. So what we’ve been up to? Well, I’ve played shitloads of GTAIV, we have C64 with prophet 64, we’ve written new songs, been training and rewriting them quite a bit and now we are preparing for our summer gigs. Next friday we’ll be at Klubi here in Turku. We’re playing with Goodnight Monsters, should be interesting. After that, its going to be GRILLIN festival at Suomensaari, Tampere, with all of our friends and foes, I guess we are playing another Killskreen Skwadd-gig (Us+Fossa D+Johnny Cityzen rapping). After that its UMF 5, which Im pretty excited about, I’ve been to three of the earlier (cant remember if I were at the first one or not) ones, and its a one hell of a festival, this is our first year playing, and Im sure sure we’re gonna fuck some shit up OR die trying (propably both). Other artists include M83, Shit Robot, Annie, Eero Johannes, Johannes Rojola, Edu + Stigg Dogg and about 42949532 other cool acts.

Theres tw0 new live recordings from our last gig on myspace. They are called Tissikuvat and Dupi Sep, check them out, they rock.
So Trent released new album straight to web and partly free. Pretty cool songs (Ghosts I), i like the jam feel on them and truly believe his new business plan is the way music biz is going to be around in future. In some way that’s the way I would like to do stuff too, you can download some of it for free, but if you want to show support / get nice packaging and other bonuses, then you pay something.
In other news:
I bought Roland mc-303, pretty bitching little machine. And n00b like me dont mind about its limited capacities, I think we’re gonna do some badass music with that grey box. We’ll prolly remix our older songs so I dont have to carry around computer anymore, w00tw00t. Dont worry, we will still sound messed up, out of sync and too ______!
Just noticed that elder statesmen of finnish electro, Mr. Velcrofastener have the same color layout on their site that we do, they probably have had it for years. Ooooh snap.

I forgot to mention that there’s been some stuff why we’ve been kinda quiet for couple of months. My old computer (LEO) died, and most of our material is there, luckily I had some backups done for some files used at gigs, so we’re not completely fucked up. Also, I got a new job and kef is doing his final exams (VV&Pixel-related stuff,very neat) so we are kinda busy. I even did one solo show and erva did one DJ-show solo.
At the same time we are working on some new material, at the moment we are writing songs for our very first rap/hiphop-gig! MC called Johny Cityzen is coming to Lisäelämä for a gig and we are the backing band for him! With us there is our good buddy Fossa, and our band is called Kilskreen Skwadd. Also some other new tracks are on the works, they sound mean, pissed of and very groovy. There’s going to be an interview of us at Basso-Magazine in coming months, so be sure to check that out too.
Keff and his gf are on their way to Stockholm to watch the Cure on saturday, they even have a blog for it: http://nilleviina.blogspot.com/ Kinda cool,huh? Im going to see Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto on monday, but still I’m jealous as fuck and I hope ol’Bob is fat and falls asleep middle of the show or something.
BTW, Im not sure why we are writing this in english, I know theres couple of people who read this and are not from Finland. Sorry for the extremely bad writing skills.
