This is a little surprise release! To prove that we’ve not been just slacking, here’s five new songs from our last gig this year. The gig was at place called Cosmic Comic Cafe, which is basically like the coffeeshop in Friends but filled with comics, graphic novels etc that people can read for free. We had hell of a good time playing, with christmas lights and all. We cut out 2 olds songs from this “EP” but sound itself is straight from our mixer and you can actually hear the crowd at times. And drunken babbling between songs. Playing is nowhere perfect and sound balance is little bit off at times, but I think it caught some of the live playing and livejamming magic and nice warm energy that surrounded the place. And for all the people who loved Lori Konkero version that was upped sometimes ago, check the version of this gig, the offbeat out of sync synth is fixed and this version has some true noise magic by Kef!

Its finally done, our first proper video! Song’s called “GOT BRAINS?“. It’s a song that’s been KINDA named after our previous album, and personally I feel the video kinda captures everything what we’re about (getting our ass kicked by a giant mushroom, especially). Video has got huge amounts of plays in just couple of days, hopefully it keeps going that way! There’s a youtube version coming very soon. There’s at least one remix coming from the video song too.

I would like to say huge “whoa” to both of the creators, Niina and Ville ( the other half of the band, oOh, secret identity has been broken!!) for making this video, totally superawesome. And thanks to our friend Fossa Douglasi for collaboration on the track + co-starring the video, everybody should check out his stuff too, theres a link to his myspace on our link thingy on the right->

In other news, there are couple of more bigger gigs coming, new songs, etc.. we are hard at work writing new material and remixing older stuff, we try to put some new rough demos here and to myspace as often we can. Oh and there’s article about Finnish Chiptune scene on new Basso-Magazine (2/2008). There’s interviews of Huoratron, 64Mula and Videovalvontaa. Pretty cool.

We’re doing some pretty great tracks with some veeery talented & cool artists, but more about that later, dont want to jinx it,right? New stuff is right now little bit all over the place, some have very familiar VV sound to them (like Easter Dicks and new video song) and some are little bit more to directions where we havent been (more danceable, I think?).
